Samba Football Goal Types
Samba Match Goals – As the name suggests, these goals are top of the range and are designed to be used for football matches. The goals are tested to meet the relevant British standard and meet all FA guidelines for specification of goals. All of the match goals have ‘International Style’ net supports which are stronger than the original supports and create a roof section shape in the net similar to the goals used at club level. All match goals have the Samba locking poles in addition to an extended runback making these goals safer, stronger and more stable when in use. But as with all Samba goal posts, these can be quickly disassembled and stored in a bag that will fit is a typical family size car.
Samba Playfast Goals – New to the range in late 2015, in collaboration with worldwide ball manufacturer Mitre, comes the Playfast system. Based on the Match Goal with all the features and benefits, the Playfast Goals come complete with a modified ‘Playfast’ corner joint which allows the run back and back bar to be folded flat against the posts and crossbar. The advantage of this is when the goal doesn’t need to be fully collapsed into a bag after use and can be stored in a storage shed (or similar) taking up much less space than a standard match goal.
Original Samba Goals – These are great for recreational use in the back garden or for play in nurseries and schools. Available in various sizes to suit the age and sizes of the players using them, and with the option of both locking and non-locking parts to choose from.
These goals come complete with nets and clips, and being manufactured in the UK has proven to be miles ahead of the other plastic goals available.
