Three widths of Sarel Aerators are available,
to suit your requirements. Aids water/air penetration, greatly improves root growth, for use when seeding and general turf maintenance.

Each large spiked section is 28cm (11”) in diameter, calculated to avoid ‘tearing’ of the turf. The Tensile Steel Spikes are 6mm (1/4”) in diameter, and 45mm (13/4”) in length. Each spike is replaceable, held on with a nylock nut.

Also coupled to each unit is a 12cm (41/2”) diameter roller for transportation across hard surfaces and for use as a ground rolling tool.

Does not tear. Can be used wihtout interrupting play.
Aeration of the roots, greatly stimulating healthy and vigorous growth, and preventing burning during hot weather.
The hole made by the spikes permit the hot air to escape and the fresh air and dew to penetrate the roots, at the same time loosening the soil, allowing the roots to spread freely and healthily and providing drainage.
Allows top dressing to penetrate easily to the roots, ensuring quicker and more lasting results.
Prevents moss forming.

300mm (12”) wide unit
This portable tool is the ideal aerator for smaller lawns, smaller areas of turf and where access is narrow. A comfortable and easy tool to use.
