About the UK Javelin Association

The UK Javelin Association has now been firmly established with our central aims to help promote the Javelin Throw by increasing the understanding of the event for all throwers, coaches, parents and other interested parties as well as improve communication to all those who contribute to the event.

We now have good linkages across the coaching community and into the NGB (UK Athletics and the Home Country Associations) and have fostered a very positive and collaborative approach within our own community as well.

The Association is still embryonic, with plenty of development yet to be realised. We have a small and dynamic committee and have worked hard to ensure that you are brought the best information from around the British, European and World Javelin community.
